At Grays Drama Academy CIC we are passionate about teaching the key elements of Acting, Singing and Music for stage and screen. We cater for students from 6 years upwards and our classes are fun, educational, exciting, and fully engaging for pupils of all ages.

GDA's principal, Joanne, is an experienced acting/vocal coach and she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with First Class Honours (Theatre – Guildford School of Acting). Joanne has a wealth of performance experience, and has worked globally as a professional entertainer since 2002, in over 30 countries.  

GDA’s main objective is to bring out the absolute best in every student, ensuring that pupils are equipped to achieve their goals. Joanne believes that the rapport GDA builds with students is key to their self-belief and ultimate success. We provide an environment for students to freely express themselves, gain confidence, and have great fun!

Joanne is a full Equity member holding Public Liability insurance of up to £10 million. She holds an enhanced DBS disclosure certificate and a chaperone licence. GDA adheres to the child protection policy and the safeguarding of children and young people.
